2. Publisher Take-Two Interactive revealed the sales figures in a third-quarter trading update. Sales of Grand Theft Auto V, developed by Edinburgh-based Rockstar North, were the key driver in Take Two's surge in third-quarter earnings, which rose to $1.86 billion (£1.1 billion) compared with $415.8 million (£250 million) for the same period a year earlier.
